Julian Le Bas

Julian Le Bas is a Sussex based artist whose paintings re – awaken a sense of our presence and emotional involvement in the natural world. Inspired by the South Downs and its coastal area, his response seeks to bring weight and volume into light and space.

Julian Le Bas teaches art at the University of Brighton. He has exhibited widely and has work in The Towner Collection.
